So, about 2 weeks ago our television quit working. So, we decided to buy a new one. We bought this beautiful plasma
Samsung tv. It was nice.
Yep, WAS nice.
Saturday night, my son threw a golf ball at it and broke it.
(Insert gasp and then long pause of silence here)
Two weeks we had it. Two weeks. Remy. Threw. A. Golf. Ball. At. It.
Obviously, Cody and I were furious. Not really at Remy
because he's 20 months old. Yes, he
shouldn't have thrown the golf ball, but he also shouldn't pick his nose or lick the dog's face. All No No's. He has no concept that he broke a Very Expensive TV.
The thing is, as much as it sucks, we really can't stay mad. I mean, it's a TV...a materialistic item. We are blessed with a wonderful family, a healthy son, jobs, food, clothing, Jesus. Jesus
trumps a TV.
This little guy...

He did it.
I am sure Remy will do things in his life that will make me sad. There will be consequences to his actions, and sometimes I'll be the one who has to pay for them (literally!). But, through it all, I hope he knows that HE is 1 TRILLION times more important than a TV and
HE IS LOVED.

Now, ask me how I feel later this week when I have to miss American Idol.
